General Questions

  1. What is the promotion and how do I play?

    The MOUNTAIN DEW and DORITOS Halo® 4 Double XP Promotion is an online code-based program. Consumers enter a code found on specially marked MOUNTAIN DEW and DORITOS products to bank Double XP matches. To play, go to DewXPCanada.ca or DoritosXPCanada.ca and follow the online directions to sign-in or register. Each time an eligible individual logs onto the Website using their e-mail address and enters a Code, the Participant will automatically receive the amount of Double XP matches associated with their Code.

  2. Who is eligible to participate in the Double XP promotion?

    The promotion is open to legal residents of Canada who are seventeen (17) years of age or older at the time of registration. For complete detail regarding eligibility, please see the Terms & Conditions. Halo® 4 is rated "M" for Mature. May contain Blood and Violence.

  3. When can I play?

    The Double XP promotion begins October 22, 2012 at 12:00:01 P.M. ET and ends January 31, 2013, at 11:59:59 P.M. ET. Codes are available as long as supplies last. Double XP cannot be used in-game until the release of the Halo 4 game on November 6, 2012.

  4. What browsers and platforms can I use?

    The site is optimized for desktop, but can also be viewed on mobile devices and tablets. Below is a list of optimized browsers and platforms.

  5. Is there a cap to the amount of XP a consumer can earn in a day playing Halo 4 and if so will my Double XP matches go to waste if I hit that cap?

    Yes, there is a daily XP cap in Halo 4's Infinity Multiplayer that a very small percentage of online players may hit. Note that once you have hit this cap, you will no longer use your Double XP matches. You will resume using your Double XP matches once the XP cap lifts the following day.

UTC CODE QUESTIONS

  1. Where do I find codes?

    Look for unique ten (10)-character alphanumeric codes (each, a "Code") underneath orange bottle caps on specially marked 591mL bottles and 12-pack cartons of MOUNTAIN DEW and DIET MOUNTAIN DEW and on the outside of 80g and 245g bags of DORITOS JACKED Smoky Chipotle BBQ tortilla chips, and 90g and 260g bags of DORITOS Nacho Cheese and DORITOS SWEET CHILI HEAT! tortilla chips, while supplies last. Not all brands and package sizes may participate or be available in all areas. In addition, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to distribute Codes at various times throughout the Promotion Period through additional means that may include, but not be limited to, the following: (a) on game cards distributed at select sampling site and events; or (b) on promotional fountain cups.

  2. How do I enter my Codes?

    To enter your Code online, register on DewXPCanada.ca or DoritosXPCanada.ca and follow instructions on screen to enter the Code exactly as it appears and click "submit". Each time you enter a valid Code into your Account during the Promotion Period you will receive the amount of Double XP matches associated with each Code. Codes can be entered on the Website until 1/31/13 and pushed to Xbox LIVE accounts until 3/31/13. Codes that have not been applied to a Gamer ID/Gamer tag before 3/31/13 will be forfeited.

  3. How do I transfer Double XP Matches to my Xbox? Do I "activate" when I load up?

    You can transfer your Double XP matches to Xbox LIVE Gold Accounts for Xbox 360. Once you have banked your Double XP matches via the website, you will have to log into your Xbox LIVE account through the Dashboard. Then, from the Dashboard, "apply" the Double XP Matches to an Xbox LIVE Account. Lastly, log into your Xbox LIVE account and go into multiplayer, your Double XP Matches will begin for the amount applied to your Xbox LIVE Gold Account. HALO 4 and Xbox LIVE GOLD REQUIRED (sold separately).

  4. What if I have Double XP ready, but don't want to use it? When does the clock start, is it only during game play?

    You can bank your Double XP matches on the website. It is up to the Participant to determine when they want to apply their Double XP to their Xbox LIVE Gold account.

  5. Can I use multiple Xbox LIVE Accounts?

    Yes, you can apply Double XP matches to multiple Xbox LIVE accounts, but each Xbox LIVE Account you apply matches to must already be activated in Halo® 4: multiplayer mode. There is a limit of 200 Double XP matches to each Xbox LIVE Account.

  6. If I hit 200 Double XP matches in my Xbox LIVE Account and then use two Double XP matches playing in game, can I bank two more Double XP matches worth of Codes? Or once I hit 200 Double XP Matches in my Xbox LIVE Account is that the maximum number of XP matches that I am ever allowed to accumulate?

    Each Xbox LIVE Account is only allowed to accumulate a maximum of 200 Double XP matches for the entire duration of the promotion. If you redeem 200 Double XP matches and then use 2 Double XP matches, you cannot redeem another 2 Double XP matches.

  7. Is this set up for Canadian residents only?

    Yes, this is for Canadian residents only who are at least 17 years old at the time of registration.

  8. Can I enter codes under more than one (1) DEWXPCANADA / DORITOSXPCANADA Account?

    No. You can only have one (1) DEWXPCANADA / DORITOSXPCANADA Account. Limit one (1) Account per person. Each Code can only be used once, subsequent attempts to re-submit or re-use the same Code, will be void.

  9. Can I enter or use my codes on any other sites?

    No. Codes are only accepted at DewXPCanada.ca and DoritosXPCanada.ca.

  10. Do I need to keep my Caps/Codes once I enter them?

    It is suggested that you hold onto the Caps/packaging for your records.

  11. Where can I view the Codes I've entered?

    The "Dashboard" section of the Website will record all transactions within your Account, including Codes entered, Double XP matches and Entries redeemed. When logged onto your Account you can check your Account History for balances and details.

  12. My Code is not being accepted online, what can I do?

    Please ensure you are typing the Code correctly and not transposing characters (like a zero for the letter "O"). Your Code may have been previously entered already.

  13. I received a notice saying my account is frozen. What can I do?

    If you receive this notice, your Account will be unfrozen within 24 hours. You may have entered too many invalid Codes.

  14. I am having trouble reading the code on my game piece. What should I do?

    If you cannot read the Code, please call toll-free 1-866-852-8616 from 7am to 7 pm ET or e-mail halo4canada@young-america.com.

REGISTRATION QUESTIONS

  1. How do I register for the Promotion?

    Go to DewXPCanada.ca or DoritosXPCanada.ca (the "Website") during the Promotion Period and follow the on-screen instructions to register for the Promotion. Use your valid e-mail address along with a valid name, password and date of birth to set up your free Promotion account ("Account"). If you are not an existing Account holder, follow the instructions to register for the Promotion. Every Participant will be required to register on the Website. In order to redeem your Double XP matches, you must also have an existing Xbox LIVE Gold membership and have purchased Halo® 4.

  2. I received a message saying my email address is already in use. Why?

    If you've previously registered or created an Account with a Pepsi or Mountain Dew brand site, you should be able to sign-in using your valid email address and existing password.

  3. How can I update my personal information or my Account?

    If you wish to update the information associated with your Account, please visit - https://account.mountaindew.com/pfc/update?ctc=100. Sign-in with your email address and password. You will be able to update your personal information as needed.

Bonus Questions

  1. What different types of special bonuses award 2 Matches of Double XP?

    There are three different kinds of special bonuses that award 2 Matches of Double XP. You can earn one bonus (i.e. 2 Matches of Double XP) per week.

    DewXPCanada / DoritosXPCanada Accounts will be awarded a special bonus of 2 Double XP Matches if they input any combination of both MOUNTAIN DEW and DORITOS codes during a single online code redemption submission.

    The 7-Eleven MOUNTAIN DEW Halo 4 Slurpee® Cup Bonus
    Available: October 22, 2012 – December 31, 2012
    DewXPCanada / DoritosXPCanada Accounts will be awarded a special bonus of 2 Double XP Matches if they input any combination of a limited edition MOUNTAIN DEW Halo 4 Slurpee® Cup and DORITOS codes during a single online code redemption submission.

    The 7-Eleven King of the Hill MOUNTAIN DEW App Bonus
    Available: : October 30, 2012 – December 31, 2012
    DewXPCanada / DoritosXPCanada Accounts will be awarded a special bonus equal to 2 Double XP Matches after engaging with the 7-Eleven King of the Hill app and reloading to full supplies after running through initial supplies. In order to reload to full supplies, the consumer must be in a 7-Eleven in Canada and scan both a MOUNTAIN DEW and DORITOS product. The consumer will then receive a code to bank at DewXPCanada.ca or DoritosXPCanada.ca. After banking, the consumer will receive their bonus XP Matches.

  2. What different types of special offers award 3 Matches of Double XP?

    There is one special bonus that awards 3 Matches of Double XP.

    Available: November 6, 2012 for a limited time only.
    DewXPCanada / DoritosXPCanada Accounts will be awarded a special bonus of 3 Double XP Matches by inputting the Code received upon pre-purchase of the Halo 4® game from Canadian Walmart stores during an online code redemption submission.
